As an incredibly sophisticated wine reviewer, I have broken my think-tank through the consumption of vast quantities of 'Le Grape'. The only way to remember what was good and what was not, is for me to start posting brief reviews.
Here are the first two for 2010:
Whispers 2009 - Cab Merlot (SE Australia) = Pretty good
Shiraz 2008 (DM4 - SE Australia) = Shit, but just passable for cooking with (yes, I know that you shouldn't cook with wine that you wouldn't drink)

Drugs. Broncos. Personal Suffering

What a kerfuffle! The media is foaming at the mouth over the alleged (maybe) possibly true (perhaps) rumours about a Broncos footy player being addicted to drugs/booze/hookers...it's all a bit tired & boring. And where is the evidence? It's not exactly news, is it? Perhaps a new league should be started; only players who are on drugs will be allowed onto the teams? Can you imagine watching a game where all the players are high on crack/ice/LSD...might make the whole thing a bit more exciting....
